Relax in the sauna area, swim in the 32-36°C pools or let off steam on the thermal slides. Besides swimming pools and spas outside of the city, Vienna also has some wonderful spas in the center. Schweizergarten
Peace, nature, a bit of art and Viennese specialities - you can find it all in the beautiful Schweizergarten all year round. This city park is one of the oldest in Vienna and certainly one of the most beautiful. The meadows invite you to linger and the restaurant Klein Steiermark offers refreshments and culinary delights. As well as ponds and exotic plants, the park has playgrounds where children can run and play. And if you fancy a bit of art, you can visit Belvedere 21, Vienna's museum of contemporary art, which has changing exhibitions.

Burggarten
The beautiful Burggarten is located right in the city centre and has been one of Vienna's most popular city parks for over a hundred years. The public garden is always well maintained and invites you to linger in the sun, go jogging or just enjoy some time out. You can also visit the Butterfly and Palm House. It is easy to forget that you are in the centre of Vienna.

Setagaya Park
Cherry blossoms, waterfalls, tea houses - are we in Japan? No. You can find all this in Setagaya Park. Soak up the Far Eastern atmosphere, discover Japanese plants and rock gardens and just enjoy the moment. The Japanese park is particularly popular during the cherry blossom season, but Setagaya Park is also the ideal place for a green break in Vienna at other times, from the beginning of April to the end of October.

Peilstein
There are also many wonderful places to explore outside Vienna. Pack your walking boots and head to Peilstein. This 716-metre-high mountain is suitable for both walkers and climbers. The climb is relatively easy, making it ideal for inexperienced hikers and children. Just go with the flow, enjoy nature and be rewarded at the top with a fantastic view of the Vienna Woods.
